You can download emails directly to your computer. Once downloaded, you can attach an email to another email.
- On your computer’s web browser, go to Gmail and log into your account.
- Open the email message you want to save.
- In the right upper corner of the email, click More .
- Selected Download message.
- The message will be saved to your Downloads folder as a file with the subject as the filename and with the extension “.eml”.
Send emails as attachments.
- On your computer’s web browser within Gmail, Click Compose.
- At the bottom, click Attach files .
- Select the file you downloaded as .eml and click Open.
- Address the email to your CIR POC(s), please put the Client name in the subject, and Click Send.
Alternatively, you can forward an email as an attachment:
- On your computer’s web browser, go to Gmail and log into your account.
- Select the email(s) that you want.
- In the top center of Gmail, click More .
- Select Forward as attachment.
- Address the email to your CIR POC(s), please put the Client name in the subject, and Click Send.
