What is the Salary Scan?
At time of quoting, the Salary Scan automatically analyzes your client's job postings across LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed to identify whether they include proper salary disclosures required by pay transparency laws.
Why This Matters
Our goal in highlighting this data is to help your clients avoid costly compliance gaps that can lead to Employment Practices Liability (EPL) exposure.
Pay transparency laws are rapidly expanding across the United States, with multiple states already requiring salary disclosures in job postings and many others considering similar legislation.
How to Access Results
Salary Scan results are automatically included in every Executive Risks Assessment. Simply download the assessment from the Accounts page in the Broker Platform.
You can view the full scan results in the dedicated Salary Data page of the Executive Risks Assessment
Understanding Your Results
For each platform (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed), you'll see:
- Job Openings: Total postings found
- Salaries Disclosed: Total postings with salary information
- Salary Data Missing: Clickable links to sample job postings with missing salary data
If there are fewer salaries disclosed than job openings, this is a potential compliance gap to discuss with your client.
This tool assists with compliance monitoring but should not replace legal counsel. Recommend clients consult employment law attorneys for specific guidance.
