If you're wondering, what are my extended reported period options? Can I extend the policy reporting period? The answer is yes!
All Coalition policies, by default, allow for claims to be made up to 60 days after the end of the policy period for incidents discovered during the last 30 days of the policy period.
During the 60 days following the end of the policy period, you may also elect to purchase an "Optional Extended Reporting Period" for additional premium subject to all terms, conditions, limitations of, and any endorsements to your Policy. Please consult your Policy for the reporting periods available to you (generally speaking, you can extend the reporting period by 1, 2, 3, 4, or even up to 5 years) and the additional premium of such extended reporting period.
Such Optional Extended Reporting Period applies only to a claim first made against you during the Optional Extended Reporting Period arising out of any act, error, or omission committed on or after the retroactive date or your policy (most are full prior acts!) and before the end of the policy period, subject to the Retention, Limits of Liability, exclusions, conditions, and other terms of your Policy.
