Cyber insurance policies generally do not cover claims arising from alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as nearly all policies exclude events arising from employment practices and discrimination.
Coverage for alleged violations of the ADA may be included in an Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) policy or a comprehensive Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy. However, these policies generally only cover the cost of defense and damages, and not the cost to remediate any underlying issues.
