New functionality coming March 10
Cover and protect your clients with cyber insurance1 and cybersecurity.
Unlock more cyber security protection for your clients by adding Coalition Security™ products2 directly in the Broker Platform — or upon request with manual submissions.
How can I add a security product to an insurance quote?
If you’re a broker in the US or Canada (excluding Quebec) and your client is interested in adding security products to further mitigate their business’ cyber risk, you can add a security product directly in the Broker Platform when quoting cyber insurance products or by request when sending in manual submissions. In all other countries, talk to your business development representative to get a Coalition Security quote.
How much do Coalition Security products cost?
It depends on what your client needs. Security Awareness Training starts at $300 USD/year3, and our pre-built packages start at $3,000 USD/year, but we can work with you and your client to customize a package for their specific needs and budget.
How is payment handled for Security Awareness Training and security packages?
- For the insurance policy, payment for the insurance policy follows the standard payment process for your agency (agency pay or direct billing).
- Security Awareness Training is invoiced separately via an email from Coalition to the policyholder. Payment is made via credit card or ACH transfer by the policyholder by clicking the payment link in the invoice email or during onboarding to Coalition Control, our unified risk management platform.
- Security packages involve executing a separate MDR Services Agreement and receiving an invoice from Coalition, which the policyholder is responsible for paying separately.
Are there any coverage benefits for clients that purchase Coalition Security products?
Yes! In the US and Canada (excluding Quebec), the following coverage enhancements may be available to your clients:
- Up to an additional $50K of Funds Transfer Fraud coverage (subject to underwriting review and approval) for businesses that purchase and use Security Awareness Training or the Essential, Business, or Business Plus4 package during the term of their Coalition cyber insurance policy
- Up to a 12.5% premium credit5 for businesses that purchase Managed Detection & Response or the Business or Business Plus package at the time that they bind a Coalition cyber insurance policy

We can also create custom packages tailored to an individual client: for example, priced for more or less employees or for a different mix of benefits, as needed. Contact securitysales@coalitioninc.com for more information.
Can a security package be customized?
Absolutely! Custom packages are available. Contact securitysales@coalitioninc.com for more information.
Can I receive commission when selling security products?
Brokers do not receive commission on security products. However, you can receive a referral fee should you successfully refer a customer to a Coalition Security product. In order to receive a referral fee, your agency must sign a separate Referral Fee Letter Agreement. Reach out to your dedicated Coalition Security point of contact – or securitysales@coalitioninc.com – to receive a Referral Fee Letter Agreement and get started.
