Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) web browser was introduced in 2013.
In 2020, there are several more secure and faster browsers available today that support modern web technologies. IE 11 does not support modern technologies, and is being deprecated by Microsoft, even while their lifecycle policy allows usage for a bit longer in certain situations

If your computer is managed by a central IT organization, consult with that organization before switching, but given the snappy modern alternatives, you'll be happy to switch to any supported modern browser.
Microsoft already has removed support for IE 11 on some of its own properties, like LinkedIn.
Similarly, on August 17, 2020, Microsoft published a timeline indicating that Microsoft Teams will stop supporting Internet Explorer 11 on November 30, 2020 and Microsoft 365 (formerly known as Office 365) products will end Internet Explorer 11 support on August 17, 2021.
